San Diego Freedivers Monthly Club Meeting
Last month Terry Maas spoke at our club meeting.
It was a real treat to meet Terry. He shared some great fishing stories and advice for handling big fish.
Freedive! and Bluewater Hunting
When I started spearfishing these were some of the first books I could find about the subject. Terry has published quite a few books.
Back in 2011 I found a VHS copy of “Freedive!” in a SCUBA shop. I told a buddy about it and he dug up an old VCR from storage. We went back and he bought the video. He watched it and later lent me his VCR and Video. Freedive! was the last VHS I’ve seen. I bought the book too.
Bluewater Hunting is another great book. Good information, stories, and pictures.
It was cool to meet the guy who inspired me to dive.
