…in a few years.

Now I document my progress here on SpearoBlog for you to use as a learning tool.

I am here because I am passionate about helping new spearos to overcome the challenges of learning to spearfish and becoming competent, safe, ethical, and selective spearo.

I know what it is like to have questions and not have someone to ask without fear of being publicly berated or accused of looking for handouts.

That is why I am here to help you get past that initial learning curve and on your way to being a competent responsible spearfisher.

It wasn’t long ago that I was posting on forums trying to learn to do the “right thing” and paying back with my beginner level dive reports only to be teased and criticized for not knowing everything and sharing my passion for spearfishing.

I had enough and decided to start SpearoBlog a web resource for beginners. I would take the criticism and ridicule once and use what I learned to make it easier on the next generation, YOU.

Now I am more than comfortable in the water and have landed some nice fish. I have a solid network of great spearo friends(dive buddies) and the confidence that comes from experience and knowing my limits.
